Tapas Vinyasa Yoga
is an hour long yoga class for practitioners who have a comfortable asana foundation. ‘Tapas’ in Sanskrit means “fiery discipline” – and through cultivation and attention your practice can build into a powerful tool for the body and mind.
This class utilizes core strength, pranayama (breathwork), and creatively balanced sequences to focus on deepening your practice. Through more advanced poses you will uncover the power within the body and spirit, developing enhanced strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina, while increasing concentration and mind-body awareness.
The small group format makes this class a safe, ideal environment for students to work closely with the instructor to welcome and develop armbalances, inversions, and backbends into their practice. Culminating in a restorative savasana, you will leave feeling balanced and energized.
