She has amassed over 800 hours of professional yoga training, and brings that education and devotion into every class she teaches. Alexandra is dedicated to helping students realize their limitlessness, and specializes in intermediate and advanced classes, armbalance and inversion workshops, and pranayama and meditation classes. Alexandra holds a 500 RYT Yoga Alliance Certification. She trained for over 300 hours directly under Lama Andrey Lappa and is a certified teacher of Universal Yoga. Alexandra is a certified ACE Group Fitness Instructor and a certified Total Body Tabata Instructor. Additionally, She is a certified Grounded Kids Yoga teacher, holding a 100 RCYT through Yoga Alliance.
Tapas Vinyasa Yoga
is an hour long yoga class for practitioners who have a comfortable asana foundation. ‘Tapas’ in Sanskrit means “fiery discipline” – and through cultivation and attention your practice can build into a powerful tool for the body and mind. This class utilizes core strength, pranayama (breathwork), and creatively balanced sequences to focus on deepening your practice. Through more advanced poses you will uncover the power within the body and spirit, developing enhanced strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina, while increasing concentration and mind-body awareness.
The small group format makes this class a safe, ideal environment for students to work closely with the instructor to welcome and develop armbalances, inversions, and backbends into their practice. Culminating in a restorative savasana, you will leave feeling balanced and energized.
